hazy sunshine... (am.21.mar.12)>

Temperatures are cooler early this morning than we've seen in several days, but we have wall-to-wall sunshine to balance things out.  I recorded an overnight low of 51.8F (11.0C), and there has only been a trace of rainfall in the past 24 hours.

Our recent upper-level disturbance has now completely dissipated, and we're returning to a quiet, uneventful weather pattern... which should continue for the remainder of the week.  It is quite hazy out there... which unfortunately, is often a regular by-product of a springtime air mass.  As usual, we'll see if afternoon warming can generate instability, clouds, and maybe a random shower over the mountains, but that's really about all there is to be concerned about in the near term.

After this brief turn to cooler temps, expect a steady warming trend into the weekend, with temperatures returning back to normal or slightly above for the latter part of March...
