atmospheric upheaval... (pm.03.mar.12)>

Skies are partly cloudy this evening.  It has been arguably the most comfortable day of the year... with the sunshine firmly in control, allowing the high temperature to reach 64.2F (17.9C).  Humidity averaging around 35% was perfect for laundry drying, too.

All eyes are now turning to the west, as a fairly potent upper-level storm system begins to move across northern Afghanistan... heading in our direction.  Already, milder air is being pulled northward ahead of its arrival... and we'll be enjoying the warmest temps of the season until it passes by.  But also, there are going to be areas of showers and thunderstorms developing... with some moderate to heavy rainfall definitely possible between tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday afternoon.  It won't rain continuously... but we should get hit with a wave or two of rain and thunder during that time frame.  Be ready to seek shelter should you be out and about.

The remainder of the coming week should feature slightly cooler temperatures, with some lingering instability keeping a mention of a few random showers in the forecast, in the midst of the spring sunshine...
