We're still dealing with some haze, and a few high cirrus clouds this morning at sunrise... but it's another very mild one. I recorded an overnight low of 62.8F (17.1C), and our humidity stands at a bone dry 28%.
The changes during the past week have been so dramatic, it's kind of hard to fathom. Temperatures have gone from being well BELOW normal for mid-March, to well ABOVE normal in a matter of a few days, allowing us to charge right across the line into genuine springtime weather. Today is going to be another warm one, with temps expected to rise perhaps a little higher than yesterday's 74F (23.4C). Unfortunately, the haze will stick around as well, but that's just one of the negative by-products of sharing this warm air mass with our neighbors to the south.
An upper-level disturbance is on the way for tonight and Tuesday. Although none of the computer model guidance is pointing to a significant amount of rainfall, there's a good chance we could see a round or two of thunderstorms move through at some point. Temperatures will be a bit cooler in the wake of this system, but it doesn't look like we'll be anywhere near as chilly as it was during the first half of last week...
