friday morning (24sep)>

skies are mostly cloudy early this morning...with a few rumbles of thunder.  we've had some sprinkles and very light showers during the wee hours of the morning, but nothing measurable.  the current pre-sunrise temperature is a cool 14C/58F.

a wave of energy in the upper atmosphere is passing through this morning, and is trying to stir up some thundershowers.  there is still enough moisture around to possibly fuel a round of showers or thundershowers today, but as the jetstream shifts to more of a west-northwesterly flow during the next 12-24 hours, any lingering monsoon moisture is going to be chased out.  a strong area of surface high pressure is already beginning to build over western rajasthan, which will contribute to our improving weather conditions. expect increasing amounts of sunshine from the weekend into the middle of next week, along with a disappearance of the fog we've all grown to love so much during the past 10-12 weeks.!

FRIDAY: still a risk of scattered thundershowers today... with a mix of clouds, sun, and perhaps some lingering fog at times.
high: 19C (67F)

FRIDAY NIGHT: chance of an evening shower/thundershower, then becoming mostly clear and cool.
low: 14C (57F)

SATURDAY: a mix of sunshine and a few periods of clouds.  dry and pleasant!
high: 21C (69F)

SUNDAY: partly to mostly sunny skies.
high: 21C (70F)

MONDAY: sunny in the morning... a few afternoon clouds.

TUESDAY: plenty of sun... pleasant temperatures.
