more rain and thunder moving in...

9:28pm... 63.3F (17.4C).  a few sprinkles.  still lots of showers and thunder happening in all directions, but quiet overhead at the moment.  the culprit, our latest upper-level disturbance, remains just to the west of us, so more action should be moving in and out overnight and tomorrow.  remaining way way way cooler than normal for early june.!

8:21pm... intermission.  we are in between two clusters of thundershowers.  currently quite breezy here at the top of mcleod ganj... more rain should be moving in shortly.

7:32pm... from what i am seeing on the satellite pics right now, we are in for at least a couple of more hours of showers and thunder.  there continues to be new development westward into east-central pakistan, and it is moving squarely in our direction.  i just measured 0.10" (2.5mm) of rainfall during the past hour and 15mins or so.  current temp is a cool 63F (17.2C).

6:50pm... and now the fog is back.  rainfall has still been fairly light up to this point, but i'm pretty confident that will be changing within the next hour.

6:25pm... very strong wind gusts and light rain have just hit the main square area of mcleod ganj.  only a little thunder and lightning thus far.  satellite photos still indicate a rapidly developing area of thunderstorms to our west-southwest, moving in our direction.

6:02pm... a new area of showers and thunderstorms is rapidly developing to our west early this evening.  expect weather conditions to deterioriate between now and 8pm.

our total rainfall since late tuesday night has been 1.01" (2.5cm).
today's high: 71.8F (22.1C)
today's low: 59.2F (15.1C)
