another totally clear morning... with a comfortable temperature of 69.3F (20.7C) before sunrise. last evening's isolated thundershowers over some of the mountains of kashmir and himachal died out quickly, leaving things calm and quiet all across northern india overnight.
our weather pattern will change little during the coming several days, as weak high pressure remains planted from the arabian peninsula into northern india. the flow in the upper atmosphere is coming from the northwest, and will bring a few random disturbances through the area from time to time... which could fire up a couple of thundershowers over the mountains during the afternoon and evening hours. nothing to be too concerned about, but be aware and prepared for the potential for a sudden period of thunder and rain if you are in the mountains away from shelter. otherwise, skies will remain partly to mostly sunny right into the middle of the coming week, though the haze is going to become more apparent again.
temperatures are on the rise... yesterday was the warmest day since the 26th of may... and it looks like we may have some of the warmest days of the season just ahead of us.
SUNDAY: lots of morning sun. becoming partly cloudy this afternoon with a chance of a thundershower.
