high clouds have thickened up a bit late this afternoon... but the majority of the day was sunny, which boosted our high temp to 56.5F (13.6C). another one of those days when it was very comfortable in the direct sunlight, but chilly in the shade.
our brief period of totally settled, calm and quiet weather is coming to an end... again. the blanket of high clouds this evening is the first sign of our next storm system which will slowly and gradually begin to affect us over the course of the next several days. expect the sun to cloud ratio to tip in favor of clouds during the next 48 hours... along with an increasing chance of some sprinkles, then showers, then thundershowers between late tomorrow and sunday. the probability of gusty winds will re-enter the forecast as well as we approach the weekend, and heavy snow is on the way for the higher elevations again (2500m and above). at this point, i still don't think we are in for the kind of nastiness we had with the last storm system... but it is something to keep an eye on, nonetheless...
WEDNESDAY NIGHT: partly cloudy skies.
low: 8C (47F)
THURSDAY: partly to mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of a sprinkle or light shower...mainly in the PM.
high: 14C (58F)
FRIDAY: clouds, with a few peeks of sun. chance of a few light rain showers.
high: 14C (57F)
SATURDAY: mostly cloudy skies. becoming windy, with a better chance of showers and thundershowers.
high: 13C (56F)
SUNDAY: cloudy, windy and cooler with a few periods of rain and thunderstorms likely.
high: 11C (52F)
MONDAY: partly to mostly cloudy. still a chance of a few showers around.
high: 11C (51F)
