it's cloudy early this evening... and i recorded a very chilly high temp of only 48.7 (9.3C), along with no more than 8 or 9 drops of rain the entire day. there have been reports of snow falling at triund since just before noon... but the precipitation has failed to make much of a show down here at our elevation.
our upper-level disturbance is sitting over western punjab at the moment, and continues to move east as it weakens. today there have been snow showers north of us over the mountains, and some showers and thundershowers to our south across punjab and haryana... but very little in our neighborhood. we still have a shot at a little light precipitation between now and midnight, but then this disturbance will be moving out of the picture. we'll have a break in the action tomorrow into tuesday, and then yet another disturbance will begin to increase rain chances for the latter half of the week.
perhaps the bigger news is that temperatures will remain well below normal for the end of february... although we'll see a small warm-up in the next few days, it will still feel more like january.
SUNDAY NIGHT: mostly cloudy skies with a few sprinkles or light showers possible until about midnight.
low: 4C (40F)
MONDAY: partly cloudy and a bit milder.
high: 11C (52F)
TUESDAY: partly cloudy... slight chance of a brief shower by evening.
high: 12C (54F)
WEDNESDAY: partly to mostly cloudy with an increasing chance of a few rain showers.
high: 13C (55F)
THURSDAY: mostly cloudy with a good chance of rain.
high: 11C (52F)
FRIDAY: a few showers still possible... otherwise cloudy with a few peeks of sun.
high: 10C (50F)
