our skies are partly cloudy early this evening, after a high temp of 50.2F (10.1C). once again, the clouds and the sun were competing today... it was grey and gloomy during the morning and early afternoon, with a good amount of sun making its appearance after about 130-200pm. i witnessed one brief shower this morning around 930am, otherwise the day has been dry in mcleod.
the weak weather system over the western himalayas is still centered over northern parts of pakistan. it will swing through northern india late tonight and tomorrow, bringing us another increase in clouds, along with a better chance of a few showers and thundershowers. snow has fallen, and will continue to fall in the higher mountains... where there could be up to a foot or so of new accumulation above 2200m (7200ft) by late sunday night. down where most of us live, i don't see us getting much more than a half inch (1cm or so) of rain out of all this.
quiet and milder weather is on the way for monday and tuesday, but then yet another chance of rain appears by the middle of next week... as this parade of upper-level disturbances continues...
SATURDAY NIGHT: increasing clouds again... with a good chance of a few showers developing. a thundershower is possible late.
low: 6C (42F)
SUNDAY: mostly cloudy and quite cold, with a few showers and/or thundershowers likely.
high: 9C (49F)
SUNDAY NIGHT: any rain should end by midnight or so... then becoming partly cloudy.
low: 5C (41F)
MONDAY: a mix of sun and clouds... milder.
high: 12C (53F)
TUESDAY: partly cloudy skies.
high: 13C (55F)
WEDNESDAY: becoming mostly cloudy with a good chance of showers and thundershowers.
high: 12C (54F)
THURSDAY: mostly cloudy with a good chance of more showers/thundershowers.
