Saturday's stats:
Early morning low temp: 45.5F (7.5C)
Afternoon high temp: 57.4F (14.1C)
Rainfall: none
There are a few scattered high clouds around the area as we approach sunset this evening, but sunshine once again was the dominant weather feature of the day. The high temp at my location on Tushita Road below the Mountaineering Center was the warmest I've recorded since the 22nd of December -- even in the shade it was relatively pleasant today.
Our weather pattern is still devoid of any significant storm systems, but we do have a slightly more disturbed atmosphere on the way as we move into the new week. A weak upper-level circulation will drift through tomorrow (Sunday), but should do no more than bring us a few more clouds than we've seen the last couple of days. Thereafter, it looks like there will be a very slow and gradual increase in humidity levels from central into northern India, as the flow aloft shifts more to the southwest for the majority of the week. A potentially stronger storm system may ease in from the west by late Friday into Saturday, bringing us a chance of some light precipitation, but right now it doesn't look like a major event.
Although it's not exactly going to be "warm", our temps should stay in this generally comfortable zone for the season. Depending on the proportion of sun-to-clouds during the coming several days, we could actually crack 60F (15.5C) for the first time since the 9th of December.
