there are just a few scattered clouds in the eastern sky, otherwise it is mostly clear at sunrise this morning. we've had no rainfall overnight, and the low temp has been 63.1F (17.3C).
it looks like we can expect the same routine again today... with a generous amount of sunshine until the late morning, when clouds and some fog will develop. there also remains the risk of a period of light showers at some point during the afternoon. deep tropical moisture is no longer present, but remnant monsoon moisture in the lowest levels of the atmosphere remains stagnant in the hills and valleys all along the front ranges of the himalayas. it continues to thin out, but will prevent us from enjoying totally sunny skies for a while longer.
there have still been no official monsoon withdrawal declarations from the IMD, but they are now talking about a possible withdrawal for much of rajasthan, punjab and haryana in the next 2-3 days.
temperatures have been pleasantly cool during the evenings, overnights and early mornings, but it will remain comfortably warm during our increasing hours of sunshine as we head into the weekend.
