on our way... (am.19.sep.11)>

skies are clear to partly cloudy at sunrise this morning.  the overnight low temp has been 63.1F (17.3C), and there has been no rainfall during the past 24 hours.

monsoon conditions are weakening rapidly across northwest india, and that trend will continue this week.  the evaporation of moisture from the very wet ground, combined with lingering moisture in the lowest layers of the atmosphere will keep some periods of clouds and patchy fog in the forecast for another couple of days at least, but it is starting to look like the deep tropical moisture is most likely gone for this season.

isolated, mainly afternoon showers may still occur, but long-lasting, heavy rainfall isn't expected.  keep the umbrella within reach, but it will be needed less and less during the coming days.!

MONDAY: sunshine alternating with periods of clouds and some patchy fog at times.  risk of an isloated PM shower or two.
