*STORM UPDATE*

5:33am... mostly cloudy and 67F (19.4C).  rainfall overnight measures 0.08" (2mm).

12:30am... it is foggy, with some thunder, lightning and light rain.  satellite indicates a huge area of showers and embedded thunderstorms moving through northern india, and we do indeed seem to be on the northern edge.  temp has dropped to 68.5F (20.3C), and rainfall intensity is increasing.

8:48pm... i've been glued to the satellite data for the past few hours, watching thunderstorms develop to our west.  right now, there is a huge area of thunderstorms that has consolidated across east-central pakistan and punjab.  the upper-level winds are steering all of this to the east... which means that we could catch the northern edge tonight after about 10-11pm or so.  there is also a chance that it could slip just to our south.  at any rate, it looks like a very stormy night all over punjab and at least the southern 2/3 of himachal pradesh.
