satellite photos show a few random patches of clouds across northern parts of both pakistan and india this morning, but no showers or thunderstorms happening anywhere at the moment. today should not be nearly as active as yesterday, but as the sun gets a chance of warm up the lower layers of the atmosphere, there could still be enough instability to generate a thundershower or two this afternoon into the evening. actually, this slightly unsettled pattern will remain with us all the way into next week... providing at least a mentionable chance of a shower or storm nearly every day. otherwise, there will be plenty of sunshine to go around as well.
friday's rains chased the warm temps down the mountain... but that summertime air will be surging back starting today. expect a gradual warming trend into early next week, as MAY ends pretty close to normal character...
