i'm not sure how a day could be much closer to perfection... lots of sunshine, only a few afternoon clouds over the mountains, and a very comfortable high temp of 79.9F (26.6C).
what a difference from the last three days. the satellite perspective this evening shows absolutely nothing happening across pakistan and the northern half of india, as high pressure builds in again, providing a stable airmass for a couple of days. temperatures recovered quite a bit across the plains of northern india today, and even more dramatic warming will occur tomorrow into wednesday, before the next series of upper-level disturbances arrive for the latter part of the week.
we are way way below the normal rainfall for the month of may, but it looks like shower and thunderstorm chances will be on the increase again starting late wednesday, and continuing into the weekend. once again, there won't be any all-day rains... but the atmosphere will become unstable enough to cause a few intense thunderstorms to erupt, especially during the afternoon and overnight hours. be prepared for that if you plan to be roaming in the mountains.
MONDAY NIGHT: becoming mostly clear. not as cool as last night.
low: 19C (67F)
TUESDAY: lots of sunshine... warming up.
high: 28C (83F)
WEDNESDAY: sunny to partly cloudy and warm. chance of a thunderstorm by late afternoon.
high: 29C (84F)
THURSDAY: partly sunny skies... good chance of a couple of showers and thunderstorms in the area.
high: 29C (85F)
FRIDAY: a mix of sun and clouds, with a period of thunderstorms possible.
high: 29C (84F)
SATURDAY: partly sunny. still warm, with a chance of a thunderstorm.
high: 29C (84F)
