We have both clouds and sunshine across the area this evening. Sunshine dominated the morning hours, but thundershowers developed over the mountains by 2:00pm, keeping occasional thunder rumbling, and some random sprinkles and light showers roaming, especially in the upper parts of town. I only recorded a trace of rainfall on Tushita Road below the mountaineering center, but there could have been something barely measurable in Dharamkot and Naddi. My high temp was 82.2F (27.9C).
We remain in a very acceptable kind of weather pattern for this time of year. Sunshine has been plentiful. Humidity is low. Rainfall on the light side. And temperatures comfortably warm. Despite the rather regular passage of weak upper-level disturbances, we haven't had any dramatically stormy weather... most likely due to the fact that there is very little moisture available in our air mass these days. Another one of those upper-level systems will be moving through on Thursday, increasing the chance of a thunderstorm or two again... otherwise things are looking fairly quiet right into the weekend. Just always keep an eye to the mountains during the PM hours for potentially sudden changes.
