behaving like may... (am.14.may.12)>

Another calm and serene morning in progress, with haze and a few patches of high clouds at sunrise.  My overnight low temp here in the upper part of town was 67.1F (19.5C), and there has been no rainfall in the past 24 hours.

There is no major drama with our general weather pattern, apart from the fact that we'll be dealing with minor upper-level disturbances off and on throughout the coming week.  The flow will shift back and forth from southwest to west to northwest and then back again as these little circulation centers and pockets of colder air aloft move through, keeping at least a mention of an occasional shower or thunderstorm in the forecast.  It appears that we'll continue to see a good amount of sunshine -- just be aware of the potential for rapidly changing conditions, especially in the mountains.

Yesterday's high of 84.4F (29.1C) was the second-warmest of the season, and it looks like we'll remain in the near normal to slightly above category, temperature-wise, most days of the coming week...
