We have sun and random patches of clouds around the area early this morning.  My overnight low temp of 64.8F (18.2C) is one of the mildest of the entire season so far, and we've had no precipitation during the past 24 hours.

Interesting weather ahead, during the coming 48-72 hours.  Right now, there remains a ridge of high pressure aloft... providing us with generally stable conditions, and temperatures which have now gone ABOVE normal for this time of year.  In fact, today's high temp may challenge the warmest of the year so far, which was 79.8F (26.6C) on the 4th of April.  But starting this evening, we'll be coming under the influence of a deep trough of low pressure as it moves across Pakistan.  As this system moves in over the weekend, we'll be seeing an increasing chance of some scattered thunderstorms, one or two of which could be pretty intense.  I think the best chance of getting slammed by a strong thunderstorm will be between this evening and Sunday afternoon.  Please be very attuned to rapidly changing weather conditions if you have plans to be out and about.

By Monday, this system will be out of the picture, but all signs point to a moderately unstable air mass remaining in place... which will keep the risk of random thundershowers in the forecast.  And it looks like temperatures will be rebounding quickly after a brief cool-down early in the week...
