more moodiness... (pm.13.apr.12)>

It is partly sunny/partly cloudy as we approach sunset this evening.  The day has been virtually split into two parts... 1) cloudy and cool with some random very light showers until about 1:00pm, then 2) sunshine dominating with more pleasant temps thereafter.  Rainfall this morning only amounted to a trace at my location in the upper part of town, and I recorded a high temperature of 65.9F (18.8C) during the mid-afternoon.

We remain under the influence of a very fickle/changeable weather pattern, as a series of weak upper-level disturbances move generally from west-to east through the western Himalayan region.  This pattern is going to continue through Sunday, providing us with alternating clouds and sun, along with a good chance of an occasional period of thundershowers.  Development will be random, and could occur at any time of the day or night... so don't be surprised by the drastic changes from hour-to-hour as we progress through the weekend.  Temperatures will fluctuate as well... which has been maddening and difficult to predict!

It looks like the atmosphere will undergo a major shift during the early part of next week, diminishing our risk of showers and thunder, while allowing temperatures to return back to normal for this time of year.
