rooftop lounging... (am.11.oct.11)>

it's another beautiful morning, with clear skies, mild temperatures, and a humidity reading of 51%.  the overnight low has been 62.4F (16.9C).

we've finally settled into our quiet autumn weather pattern, with sunshine as the dominant force.  humidity levels remain comfortable and will likely fall further by the weekend, while temperatures are continuing to run a few degrees above normal for this time of year.  apart from the pine tree pollen which is coating everything in yellow, and aggravating those with allergies, we're in great shape.

there is a rather strong upper-level disturbance on its way by friday... but it appears that it will have very little moisture to work with, so other than bringing in some slightly cooler and even drier air, the chance of significant rainfall looks very small at this point.

there was a little thunder over the mountains yesterday around 2pm... so please keep in mind that even during a fair weather pattern like this, a quick afternoon thundershower can pop up with little notice.  its always good to be prepared for anything, any time of the year if you are venturing uphill...
