from sun to showers... (am.03.sep.13)>

*Update @ 10:13am... The clouds and fog have thickened up ahead of schedule this morning.  The sunshine didn't last long, but perhaps it will break out again later.  Wondering about potential shower development that won't wait until after noon...?

---------------------------------------------------------------
We have sunshine and scattered clouds across the area early on this Tuesday morning... looking really nice out there.  There was a bit of thunder around dawn, but I had no rain here in the upper part of town.  The humidity is 85% and on its way down, while the current temp is near 66F (19C) and on its way up.

A new set of teachings by HH the Dalai Lama kicks off at Tsuglagkhang this morning, and will last until Thursday morning.  There shouldn't be any weather issues for the morning sessions, but the afternoons could be subject to some thundershowers, as we've seen the past several days in a row.  It's not yet a good idea to leave home without the umbrella, wherever your destination.

Daily rainfall rates have slowed down since Sunday, but could be on the rise again as we move toward the latter half of this week.  There's obviously been some drier air worked into the mix lately, allowing the nice periods of sunshine we've been able to enjoy during the morning hours.  However, enough tropical moisture is still contained in this atmosphere to fuel fog development and scattered showers and thundershowers by the mid-day into the afternoon hours.  It's September moodiness, and it's going to be with us for at least a couple of weeks yet.
