well... the weathergeek got outsmarted by a thundershower this afternoon. the temperatures at the surface apparently were warm enough to punch into the colder air in the upper atmosphere, bringing us another one of those very low rain-producing, but windy and thundery concoctions. tomorrow will be another very warm day, with increasing humidity... but the headliner is a strong disturbance over northern afghanistan which is heading steadily in our direction. most of wednesday will be dry, but the chance for showers and thunderstorms sky-rockets by thursday and friday (and even into saturday). much cooler air will move in by friday as well... so enjoy these warm temps while they last...
