friday morning>

crystal clear skies early this friday morning, with temps around 20c/68f. every single indication is pointing to a very dramatic warming trend during the next 4-5 days, along with slim chances of any rainfall. this is kind of hard to believe for this time of year... but it does appear that a very strong upper-level high pressure center will bring some baking temps, and squash most, if not all wanna-be thunderstorms. the 24th-27th of may was our warmest few days of the summer season, with high temps right around 32c/90f, and we could be getting close to those numbers over the weekend and early next week. the monsoon's leading edge will stall across central india in response to this summer fair-weather system for a few days.

remember that temperature forecasts are for the upper side of mcleod ganj, which means it will be considerably hotter (by 3-4 degrees C) down toward the library and dharamsala...
