it's partly cloudy early this evening... after a high temp of 63.1F (17.3C), which occurred just after the noon hour. we had beautiful, sunny skies all morning, but there was quite a bit of cloudiness over the mountains during the afternoon. i have received a report of some light showers of sleet and rain up towards triund around 330-400pm.
well today was the fourth day in a row of at least a few hours of sunshine combined with mild temperatures... quite a change from what we were experiencing last week (and most of the past month, for that matter). looking ahead, the weather news continues to be good. we still have a pool of colder air aloft which is going to hang around for another day or so... and that will keep the slight chance (20%) of an afternoon/night-time shower in the forecast... but other than that, we should see a good amount of sunshine and nice march temps for the next several days. in fact, there are indications of an even more dramatic warm-up starting this weekend, lasting into next week...
