into the comfort zone... (pm.12.mar.11)

skies are partly cloudy early this evening... it's been a nice day, with a better percentage of sunshine than yesterday, and a slightly warmer high temp of 61.7F (16.5C).

no real changes to the going forecast.  a strong ridge of high pressure will continue to build and strengthen just to our west and south, right into the middle of next week.  high pressure means sinking air, allowing for very little chance of any significant precipitation, along with warming temps.  in fact, it still looks very likely that we'll being experiencing much warmer than average/normal weather by the middle of next week.  there will continue to be a few bouts of cloudiness from time to time, but sunshine is going be the majority player.

recent reports tell us that there are still several FEET of snow up at triund... but there will be a significant amount of melting going on between now and next weekend...
