After a pretty quiet period during the overnight hours, we've had another shower early this morning, between about 6:30 and 7:00am which deposited 0.07" (about 2mm) in my rain gauge. I've recorded a low temp of 40.8F (4.9C).
Last night it looked like we might be on the verge of shaking off this lingering instability/unsettledness, but the clouds are hanging in this morning, and satellite photos show moisture still stubbornly clinging to the southwestern-facing slopes of the mountains. Drier air should gradually displace this moisture as the day wears on, so apart from the continuing risk of some passing showers, there will also be hope for the sun to break through.
Monday looks much more promising, but then there will be another chance of a round of showers on Tuesday. I'll post periodic updates today if there are any noteworthy changes to the current forecast...
