Tuesday's stats:
Early morning low temp: 49.8F (9.9C)
Afternoon high temp: 61.0F (16.1C)
Rainfall: none
All is calm and quiet (weather wise!) this evening for Diwali fireworks and celebrations. Temperatures have been incredibly uniform for the past several days, while we continue to see a majority of sunshine, with varying degrees of afternoon cloud development over the mountains. Today actually balanced out sunnier than recent days, thanks to some subtle warming in the upper atmosphere.
The main weather pattern change between now and Friday will be an anticipated warm-up starting in the upper-levels, and translating to the surface as the week goes on. It's not going to be all that dramatic, but I still think we'll see some slightly milder temps as we head toward the weekend. Despite one or two disturbances drifting through aloft, our rain chances will remain very slight and sunshine generally plentiful.
The weekend itself is up in the air at the moment, with computer models hinting at a moderate amount of instability developing in the mountains of north India, especially by Saturday evening into Sunday. Right now it appears that we may have a better shot at some scattered rain showers, so stay tuned as new information rolls in...
