Saturday's stats:
Early morning low temp: 51.4F (10.8C)
Afternoon high temp: 62.4F (16.9C)
Rainfall: none
A band of clouds is approaching from the west at sunset this evening, after another mostly sunny day with relatively mild temperatures. We've now had three days in a row of this, but some changes are already in progress.
The center of an upper-level disturbance is just moving into northern Pakistan this evening, and will move to near the Pak/Kashmir border by tomorrow morning, and across Himalayan north India on Sunday. Thus far, we haven't felt its effects, but as colder air moves in aloft, and a bit of dynamic circulation crosses the area, we should see some cloudiness develop, along with a chance of a random shower or thundershower or two. If precipitation does develop, it would be in the form of snow showers as low as about 9,000ft, between late tonight and Sunday evening. Right now I'm not too excited about significant amounts of rain and/or snow anywhere near us, but please be aware of the potential for a bit of wet weather.
Yet another upper-level disturbance will follow close on the heels of this one -- perhaps as early as Wednesday. This spells a week ahead featuring alternating sun and clouds, another chance of a couple of light showers, and slightly cooler temperatures...
