it's dry... (am.12.nov.12)>

**Here's a short report on our latest quake which occurred at 1:53am this morning.**

Our skies are 100% clear at sunrise, and I've recorded an overnight low temp of 49.8F (9.9C) just below the mountaineering center at the top of McLeod Ganj.  This is the fourth morning of the last five that my minimum temperature has dropped below 50F (10C).  Was just noticing that there has only been 0.58" (1.5cm) of rain since the 5th of October which, despite this being on average the driest time of the year, is quite remarkable.

There are no outstanding features to note on any of the weather maps and charts this morning.  We have a seasonably cool air mass in place, with even colder air in the mid- and upper-levels of the atmosphere.  There are also expected to be occasional very weak upper-level disturbances/circulations breezing through on the west-northwesterly flow aloft.  All in all, it is a very typical kind of pattern for the middle of November, and should keep us alternating between morning sunshine and a period of afternoon cloudiness developing over the mountains... with precipitation chances remaining very low.

I'm expecting little day-to-day change in temperatures -- but there's still that hint of a very minor warming trend by Friday.
