This morning it's 100% clear again as sunrise approaches. My low temp here in the upper part of town has been 53.1F (11.7C), and there has been no rainfall overnight. The current humidity reading is 40%.
Although we don't have a strong, stabilizing high pressure ridge setting up over northern India, there's a weak west-northwest upper-level flow in place, and the moisture content of the air mass is quite low. There are no significant disturbances on the weather charts during the next few days -- just the potential for some afternoon instability over the mountains which could trigger an isolated thundershower up there. Even the threat of significant high cloudiness is quite low, at least today, but we could see some of those sneak in here at some point tomorrow. Temperatures will be gradually edging back close to the mildest of the season (69.3F/20.7C here at my location) by Friday. All in all, looking fairly nice.
The next potentially significant system will start to affect us by late Saturday, however. An upper-level disturbance dropping in from the west-northwest will bring a batch of colder air aloft which will destabilize the atmosphere enough to produce some scattered showers and thundershowers -- mostly between Saturday evening and late Sunday night. Right now it seems that this system won't have a whole lot of moisture to work with, but we'll follow its development as the weekend approaches...
