we've had another afternoon of rumbling thunder, gusty winds, and a few random drops of rain. these afternoon convective clouds just can't seem to muster enough energy to squeeze out anything else. despite this, we can't remove the mention of thunderstorms from the forecast until the weekend, when a more stable airmass moves in. temperatures will continue to warm up... in fact, it'll be almost as warm as it ever gets around these parts...
