fri pm. 05.14.10

rumbling thunder during the afternoon actually yielded a brief shower... otherwise the day was warm with a good amount of sun. a sort of himalayan "heat wave" is in the forecast for the next several days, as the upper-air disturbance spinning around over us during the past week shifts eastward. the weekend should be dry, but humidity and thunderstorm chances increase as we head into the new week. bonafide summer-style weather will be in full swing...
