fri am. 05.14.10

the slow-moving disturbance which has kept thunder rumbling around the area the past few days is finally pulling off to the east this morning. we'll still have a chance of a shower or thunderstorm today, but rain chances disappear almost completely for the weekend. some of the warmest air of the year is building across pakistan and northern india, and will remain with us for the next several days.
