monday morning (13dec)>

the weathergeek has been offline for a few days... still in minnesota, where we've just had 18" (46cm) of snow over the weekend, along with high winds creating blizzard conditions which caused the collapse of the roof of the metrodome, where the minnesota vikings were supposed to play the new york giants today.  also, i have a new nephew who was born the day before the snowstorm started...  (not that you came here to listen to all these excuses :-))

there have been some clouds and even some patches of fog around the area recently, and satellite pics this morning continue to show scattered areas of cloudiness over much of himalayan northern india.  there IS a risk of a brief shower (snowshowers above 2700m), but right now, no widespread or long-lasting precipitation is expected.

MONDAY: a mixture of clouds and sun, with a chance of a brief shower.
high: 12C (53F)

MONDAY NIGHT: still a risk of a sprinkle or brief shower, otherwise partly cloudy skies.
low: 6C (42F)

TUESDAY: partly sunny... can't rule out a sprinkle or two.
high: 11C (52F)

WEDNESDAY: partly to mostly sunny skies.
high: 11C (52F)

THURSDAY: mostly sunny.
high: 11C (52F)

FRIDAY: sunny to partly cloudy.
high: 11C (51F)
