just fine for feb... (am.06.feb.15)>

My current temp of 42.6F (5.9C) is also the overnight low here at my spot on Tushita Road in the upper part of town -- and there has been no precipitation since last report.  Skies are mostly clear at sunrise.

Very little to talk about in terms of the weather situation... although we have a weak system scheduled to move through here between Saturday night and very early Monday morning, things look pretty uneventful during the next week or so.  Of course the overall pattern could do some shifting around and change that outlook, but right now there is no indication of anything dramatic in the near to mid- term period.

The only thing happening in the next 36 hours or so is the minor concern of the development of more patches of cloudiness as that next weak upper-level system approaches.  That may dim our sun from time to time both today and tomorrow.  Computer models are showing a period of mainly light rain showers starting as early as Saturday evening, but sputtering out by sunrise on Monday.  That means the best chance of a bit of rain will be on Sunday -- though I will be surprised if we get anything more than around 1cm (0.40") or so.

Next week, there are hints of an impressive warming trend that could give us our first taste of springtime temperatures.  That will be fun to keep an eye on.!
